Bauxite Mining
This sedimentary rock is the world's main source of aluminum. The Republic of Guinea in West Africa is home to over 7 billion metric tons of bauxite, representing a quarter of global reserves. Here, our subsidiaries participate in the logistical operations of transporting ore between the in-land bauxite mines and seaports where this precious resource is exported.
